fire hydrants

water streaming
violently
in its throes
the
spectators jaws
affixed
and frozed
a
fight is being waged
and
it's this location it chose!
but
only a minute ago
you
cursed it's existence
at
an impasse
and
through with persistence
you
cursed and swore
because
the sign denied you admittance!
"oh
why can't i find parking??!"
you
outlandishly cry
"and
why is that dog barking??"
and
the dog let out a sigh
